Wherever you reside, there is no denying that Summer has left us and the Fall days are shorter and a bit chilly in the early hours of morning. Welcome September!

 Summer is giving way to the warm, sunny days of September. As the prelude to fall begins, most of us are making preparations for holiday decorations, projects, and greeting cards. I  am busy making cards for Thanksgiving with determination to be ahead of the calendar. 

I have used the beautiful Soft Seedlings cling stamp set (159905) with the recently retired embossing folder Meadow Moments (153126) and the new Deckled Rectangles dies (159173). Colors chosen are Very Vanilla,  Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, and Old Olive. Embellishments are Old Olive Twill Riboon (158955) and Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels (151193).

Don't hesitate to use past stamps and supplies to complete your holiday cards. I visited my stash and pulled out Pretty Pumpkins (156472) and the coordinating dies Detailed Pumpkins (156477) which were in the July-December Catalog 2021. I incorporated the new Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper (159651) which is found in this year's July - December 2022 Mini Catalog as well as the Basic Borders dies (155558) and Layering Diorama dies (155565) both of which are in the current Annual Catalog, May 2022 - April 2023. My color palette chosen is: Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede, and Early Espresso. Embelleshments are Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels (151193)

June Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

The June Paper Pumpkin Kit - Pick of the Crop included fresh, summer colors and stamps which drew our thoughts to picnics and visits to the produce markets. I added to my cards, increasing the designs to four but keeping the number to nine - using the beautiful envelopes to coordinate with the cards. 

I chose to make a varied selection of greeting and sentiments - including Birthday, Get Well, Happy Anniversary, and Thinking of You. 

 The awning and front of the cart are both scored, folded and popped out to give a dimensional feel to the Flower Cart. I added Loose Flower Flourishes (item 155808) from the Annual Catalog 2022-2023 to provide a whimsical addition to the flower pot of pink flowers. I fashioned the greeting to look like a wooden sign and embellished it with Black Glossy Dots (item 158827) which emulate fasteners. This too, was popped up with Stampin Dimensionals (item 104430) which are staple items for my card creations.

A fresh selection of fruit in produce cartons graced this Birthday Card. The foreground was popped up with more dimensionals and I added two sprigs punched from the retired Sprig Punch (item 148012). Inside, there is an insert cut from Scalloped Contours and a basic white panel with the sentiment Happy Birthday from Go-To Greetings (item 158763) and stacked under it, the greeting from Pick of the Crop (Love You a whole bunch)

I used the card front which illustrated the checked cloth for this Thank You card. The card base is Calypso Coral and I added the stamped bottle image from the Bottled Happiness stamp set (item 158684) The lazer cut images - cheese and Baguette (bread) with another punched sprig adorned the front of the card. 

A bonus card was fashioned from a card front intended for the flower cart.  I stamped an image across the bottom from the recently retired On the Horizon stamp set (item 157770) and along the left side, the flower image from the June Paper Pumpkin stamp set. The Sentiment is from the June Paper Pumpkin kit.
